Aim and Scope
Mevlana Medical Sciences (Mev Med Sci) is the scientific, independent, double-blind, peer-reviewed, open-access publication of Necmettin Erbakan University. It is published in three issues every year in April, August and December. The journal is published in Turkish and English.
The Mevlana Medical Sciences Journal is a multidisciplinary journal that appeals to a wide audience consisting of medical students, postgraduate medical students, physicians, researchers, and scientists. The main aim of the journal is to disseminate the latest developments in diagnosis and treatment in the field of general medicine, surgical innovations, and studies that will contribute to the world of science in the national and international literature.
Basic Publishing Policy
The International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE), World Association of Medical Editors (WAME), Council of Science Editors (CSE), European Union Association publishing policies and procedures follow the guidelines of the European Association of Science Editors (EASE) and the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and the National Information Standards Organisation (NISO).
Ethical Principles and Disclaimer
Our journal adheres to the 'Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing' (doaj.org/bestpractice).
Articles uploaded to the journal must not have been previously published or submitted for publication to another journal. All studies must have ethics committee approval and documentation of this approval. All studies must indicate the authors' contribution to the study and their approval. It should be stated that there are no financial conflicts of interest at any stage of the study, including data collection, experimental phase, writing, and editing. Commercial sponsorship, if any, should be declared in the study.
